- sugar - 3 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- eggs, separated - 6 item
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- cake flour - 3 c
- lemon or vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- stick whipped margarine - 1 item
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Cream butter, margarine, sugar, egg yolks and sour cream. Then add flour and beat well. Slightly beat in egg whites a little at a time. Do not beat batter again. Pour in greased tube pan and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cakes.
