Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• sour cream - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• eggs, separated - 6 item
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• cake flour - 3 c
• lemon or vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
• stick whipped margarine - 1 item

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Cream butter, margarine, sugar, egg yolks and sour cream. Then add flour and beat well. Slightly beat in egg whites a little at a time. Do not beat batter again. Pour in greased tube pan and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
