Sour cream apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 cup
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cup sugar - 1 item
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
- cup packed brown sugar - 1/4 item
- butter or margarine melted - 3 Tbsp
- all purpose flour divided - 6 Tbsp
- cups apples chopped and peeled - 3 item
How to make sour cream apple pie:
In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add sour cream. Stir in sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Stir in apples.Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
Combine butter, brown sugar, and remaining flour. Sprinkle over of the top of pie. Return to oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool completely.
