  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • diced apples - 2 c

How to make sour cream apple pie:

Prepare crust for 1 pie. Mix together 2 tablespoons flour, 3/4 cup sugar and the salt. Add egg, vanilla, sour cream and nutmeg. Beat to a smooth batter. Stir in apples. Pour into crust. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes longer. Remove from oven.

Mix together 1/3 cup sugar, cinnamon, 1/3 cup flour and the butter; crumble over pie. Bake for 10 minutes at 400°, until brown.
