Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • cream of tartar - 2 tsp
  • 1/2 cup sugar - 1 item
  • cup oleo - 1 item
  • 3/4 cups all purpose flour - 2 item

How to make snickerdoodles:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix together oleo, sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll in mixture of 1 Tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet and bake until lightly brown, but still soft.
