Simple sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• salt - 1 item
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• hot water - 2 Tbsp
• lard - 1/2 c

How to make simple sugar cookies:

Beat sugar and lard together until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat. Put flour, baking powder, soda, and salt in after you add hot water. Add flour mixture and vanilla. Drop on greased pan and bake at 400° for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar.
