Shrimp sauce
Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- cooking oil - 3/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 item
- shrimp - 1 lb
- dash of red pepper - 1 item
- flour heaping - 6 Tbsp
How to make shrimp sauce:
Brown flour in cooking oil until very dark. Add onion, red pepper, salt and pepper and saute onion. Stir in tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Add shrimp and cook for 10 minutes. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Condiments, etc..
