Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder - 1 item
- rice - 1 item
- Old Bay seasoning - 1 item
- green peppers - 1 item
- onions - 1 item
- bacon - 1 item
- red peppers - 1 item
- shrimp, shelled - 1 lb
- sazon Culantro y Anchito seasoning - 1 item
- green onions scallions - 1 item
How to make shrimp fried rice:
Make rice as you would regularly, but adding 1 packet of sazon to the water per cup of rice. (Use a little less water with the rice so it will come out firmer than usual).Boil, fry or microwave bacon but save some oil to saut?© the veggies and shrimp (very little). In a large skillet, saut?© shrimp until pink in some of the oil. Remove and set aside. Slice all veggies except scallions (they are diced) and place in the large skillet with a little more bacon oil and saut?© until soft. Add cooked rice to skillet and add shrimp and mix with veggies. Add Old Bay seasoning and garlic powder to taste.
