  • onions - 4 c
  • cabbage - 4 c
  • red peppers - 6 item
  • green peppers - 6 item
  • green tomatoes - 10 item
  • canning salt - 1/2 c
  • mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
  • celery seed - 1 Tbsp
  • turmeric
  • sugar - 6 c
  • vinegar - 4 c
  • cold water - 2 c

How to make hot dog relish:

Grind first 5 ingredients and drain. Sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight. Rinse well and drain. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over vegetable mixture. Heat to a full boil and boil for 10 minutes. Pack into hot jars. Adjust lids. Process in hot water bath canner 10 minutes.
