Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/4 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- chocolate wafer crumbs - 1 c
- semi-sweet chocolate, melted - 4 oz
- vanilla or pistachio ice cream, softened - 1 pt
How to make shamrock pie:
Melt the chocolate over hot water; spread evenly on a sheet of waxed paper. Let cool until firm. Press lightly oiled shamrock-shaped cookie cutter sharply into chocolate, or cut around a shamrock pattern.
