- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- cloves - 2 tsp
- sugar Jeremiah 6:20 - 1 c

- eggs Isaiah 10:14 - 6 item
- almonds Numbers 17:8 - 2 c
- butter Psalm 55:21
- milk Judges 14:18 - 1/2 c
- allspice 2 Chronicles 9:9 - 2 tsp
- honey Judges 14:18 - 2 Tbsp
- figs, chopped Song of Solomon - 2 c
- raisins 2 Samuel 2:3 - 2 c
How to make scripture cake:
Preheat oven to 325°. Cream the sugar and butter until very light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Sift together all dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk to batter. Stir in honey. Fold in raisins, figs and almonds. Mix well. Turn into greased 9 x 5 1/3-inch loaf pans (two). Bake 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
