Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cream cheese - 1 large
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • cold water - 1 c
  • small marshmallows - 40 item
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • pineapple juice - 1 c
  • bananas, diced - 2 item
  • boxes orange Jell-O - 2 item
  • tall can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item

How to make sawdust salad:

Mix Jell-O, boiling water and cold water. To this, add drained pineapple, bananas and marshmallows. Let jell.

Second Layer: Cook sugar, flour, egg and pineapple juice until mixture thickens. Pour on top of jelled mixture.

Next, whip the cream; add cream cheese. Put this on top of cooked mixture. Cool until ready to serve.
