  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk - 2 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • slices bread, cubed - 6 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • sausage, cooked and drained - 1 lb

How to make sausage casserole:

Cover bottom of large casserole dish with bread cubes. Layer sausage on top and sprinkle with cheese. Beat eggs, milk and spices together and pour over cheese. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes the next morning. Serves 6.
