Ingredients/Components
- boiling water
- almonds - 1/2 c
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- celery, chopped
- rice - 1/2 c
- peppers, chopped - 1/2 c
- chicken noodle soup mix - 1 pkg
- bulk sausage * - 1 lb
How to make sausage casserole:
Brown sausage and drain off fat. Remove from pan. Saute onion, peppers and celery. Combine soup mixture, boiling water and rice. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add sausage to mixture. Place in baking dish. Sprinkle almonds on top. Bake 20Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork.
