Rocky road brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- margarine or butter, softened - 2 Tbsp
- miniature marshmallows - 2 c
- Bisquick baking mix - 2 c
How to make rocky road brownies:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom only of 13 x 9 x 2-inch rectangular pan. Heat 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips and the margarine in heavy-duty 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted. Mix baking mix, sugar, vanilla, eggs and chocolate mixture; spread in pan. Bake 15 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows, nuts and remaining chocolate chips.Bake 15 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown. Cool completely; cut into about 2-inch squares. Makes 30 brownies.
To melt chocolate chips and margarine: Microwave chocolate chips and margarine, uncovered, in microwavable bowl on Medium (50%) for 3 to 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Stir until smooth.
