Rocky road brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- semi-sweet chocolate - 1 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 3 oz
- miniature marshmallows - 2 c
- coarsely chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
How to make rocky road brownies:
Topping:3 Tbsp. butter1 c. semi-sweet chocolate2 c. miniature marshmallows1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts Brownies: Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla. Blend flour and salt together. Add to mixture; beat well. Pour batter into greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes.Topping: Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan. Pour over or sprinkle marshmallow and walnuts over brownies. Return to oven for 3 minutes. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Cool in pan. Cut into squares or rectangles.
