Ingredients/Components
- 3 oz - 2 pkg
- crushed nuts - 1/2 c
- rolls Ritz crackers, crushed - 2 item
- Topping:1 container Cool Whip
- to 1 1/2 c - 1/2 c
- stick butter or oleo melted - 1 item
- Filling:1/2 gallon vanilla or French vanilla ice cream softened
- remaining cracker mix - 1 item
How to make ritz cracker dessert:
Filling:1/2 gallon vanilla or French vanilla ice cream softened2 pkg. 3 oz. instant vanilla pudding mix1/2 c. to 1 1/2 c. milk, depending on consistency of ice cream Topping:1 container Cool Whip remaining cracker mix Mix crust ingredients together and press 2/3 onto bottom of a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.Mix ice cream, pudding and milk together with a large spoon and pour over crust. Freeze for one hour, until solid enough to serve. May be kept in fridge after that.
Spread Cool Whip after ice cream is solid, sprinkle cracker mix over the top.
