Reuben pie
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- prepared mustard - 1/2 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- Swiss cheese, grated - 6 oz
- deep dish pie shell - 1 item
- can corned beef, chopped - 12 oz
- rye bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- can sauerkraut, chopped - 8 oz
How to make reuben pie:
Cook beef. Add all ingredients except grated Swiss cheese. Place half of the meat mixture in deep dish pie shell. Top with half the grated cheese. Add the other half of the meat mixture and top with remaining grated cheese. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Savory pies.
