Pumpkin spice cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- water - 3/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- cooked, mashed pumpkin - 2 c
How to make pumpkin spice cake:
Mix dry ingredients with cake mix. Add eggs and water and beat 2 minutes. Add pumpkin and beat 3 more minutes. Fold in raisins and nuts. Pour into ungreased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve warm with sauce.Sauce: Heat to boiling. Pour over warm cake, allowing to run down sides. (This is your sauce for cake.)
