Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- container Cool Whip - 11 oz
- vanilla ice cream, softened - 1/2 gal
- gingersnap cookies - 36 item
- cinnamon to your liking - 1 tsp
- can pumpkin plain, not pumpkin pie mix - 1 oz
- can pecans or walnuts, chopped fine - 1 oz
How to make pumpkin ice cream squares:
In large bowl, mix pumpkin, sugar, chopped nuts, salt, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon until blended. With spatula, fold in softened ice cream until well blended.
