Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 3 tsp
- cup chopped pecans - 1 item
- cups sugar - 3 item
- cup cold water - 2/3 item
- cups pumpkin - 2 item
- cup dates or raisins - 1 item
- cup Wesson oil - 1 item
How to make pumpkin bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 4 1-pound coffee cans. Roll dates and nuts in flour. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Fill can 1/2 full. Bake 1 hour. Cool in can 10 to 15 minutes. Turn out on rack.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Vegetables.
