Potato salad
Ingredients/Components
- medium potatoes - 8 item
- to 3 stalks celery - 2 item
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- pickle relish
- hard-boiled eggs, diced - 3 item
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- water - 3/4 c
- Miracle Whip salad dressing - 2 Tbsp
- Marzetti slaw dressing - 2 Tbsp
How to make potato salad:
Boil potatoes. Drain. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar and let cool. Add onion, celery, pickle relish and eggs. Set aside.Melt butter in pan. Add oil. Sprinkle in flour. Stir until flour is dissolved. Stir in vinegar and water. Stir over low heat until mixture is thick. Pour spice mixture over potatoes; add salad dressing and slaw dressing. Stir until dressings are evenly mixed in. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving. Serves 4 to 6.
