Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- dash of garlic powder - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- large baking potatoes - 5 item
How to make potato pancakes:
Peel and grate potatoes and onion. Leave mixture in bowl until water from vegetables rises to top. Skim off and discard. Add eggs, flour and seasonings; mix well. Drop by spoonfuls into hot shortening and flatten mixture until pancake is 4-inches in diameter. Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
