Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 1 c
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, separated - 5 item
- water - 1/4 c
- gelatin
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- poppy seed - 1/4 c
How to make poppy seed torte:
Preheat oven to 325°. Mix together the crumbs, flour, butter and nuts. Pat into a 10 x 14-inch pan. Bake until light brown. Combine the milk, 1 cup sugar and beaten egg yolks into top of double boiler; beat until sugar is dissolved. Add poppy seedRecipe categories: Desserts, Beginner cook, Easy.
