  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • baking soda
  • nuts, chopped - 1 c
  • salad oil
  • can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • can prepared poppy seed filling - 1 item

How to make poppy seed cake:

Sift flour and baking soda together and set aside. Beat eggs until lemon colored. Add sugar and blend well. Add salad oil; gradually stir in flour. Add milk, poppy seed filling and nuts. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 hour
