Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour * - 1 c
How to make popovers:
Heat oven to 450°. Grease 6-cup popover pan or 6 (6 ounce) custard cups generously. Beat eggs slightly in medium bowl. Beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth (do not overbeat).Fill cups about one-half full. Bake 20 minutes. Decrease oven temperature to 350°. Bake 20 minutes longer or until deep golden brown. Immediately remove from cups and serve hot.
*Do not use self-rising flour.
