Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- large eggs - 5 item
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- crushed pineapple - 1/2 2/3
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
- small can crushed pineapple and juice - 1 item
How to make pineapple pound cake:
Cream shortening, margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Fold in flour, 1 cup at a time. Add baking powder with last cup. Blend well. Add pineapple and milk. Beat 3 minutes. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.Glaze:1 stick margarine2 c. powdered sugar1/2 to 2/3 c. crushed pineapple Melt margarine in saucepan. Add sugar and stir.
