Pineapple cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 2 item
• salt - 1 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour - 7 c
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• soda - 2 tsp
• soft shortening - 2 c
• can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 oz

How to make pineapple cookies:

Mix soft shortening, sugar and eggs together. Stir in pineapple with juice. Sift flour, soda, salt and nutmeg together and stir in. Mix in nuts. Chill at least 1 hour. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls about 2-inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake until, when touched lightly with finger, no imprint remains. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 10 dozen cookies.
