Pineapple cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 7 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- soft shortening - 2 c
- can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 oz
How to make pineapple cookies:
Mix soft shortening, sugar and eggs together. Stir in pineapple with juice. Sift flour, soda, salt and nutmeg together and stir in. Mix in nuts. Chill at least 1 hour. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls about 2-inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake until, when touched lightly with finger, no imprint remains. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
