  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • cold water - 1/2 c
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • shredded carrots - 1/2 c
  • salad greens - 1 item

How to make pineapple-carrot salad:

Pour boiling water on gelatin in bowl; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in cold water, pineapple (with sugar) and salt. Refrigerate until slightly thickened, but not set. Stir in carrots. Pour into 4-cup ring mold. Refrigerate until firm. Unmold on salad greens.
