- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- can pineapple chunks undrained - 1 oz
- can beets sliced, drained - 1 oz
How to make pineapple beets:
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add pineapple. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add beets, butter and lemon juice. Cook about 5 minutes (stirring).Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Tropical fruits.
