  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • can pineapple chunks undrained - 1 oz
  • can beets sliced, drained - 1 oz

How to make pineapple beets:

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add pineapple. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add beets, butter and lemon juice. Cook about 5 minutes (stirring).
