- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- can sliced beets, drained - 1 oz
- can pineapple tidbits, undrained - 1 oz
How to make pineapple beets:
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add pineapple and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thick, about 2 minutes. Add the beets, butter and lemon juice.
