Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- unsifted flour - 4 c
- vegetable shortening
How to make perfect pie crust:
Put first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well with a fork. Add shortening; mix until crumbly. In a small bowl, beat together water, vinegar and egg. Combine the two mixtures; mix until moist. Divide dough in equal flat round patties ready for rolling. Wrap in plastic. Chill 30 minutes.Follow recipe exactly. May be kept for 3 weeks.
