Peppered rib-eye steaks
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 Tbsp
- pepper
- ground red pepper - 1 tsp
- parsley sprigs optional - 1 item
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- lemon pepper - 1 tsp
- orange slices optional - 1 item
- dried ground thyme - 2 tsp
- dried ground oregano - 2 tsp
- beef rib-eye steaks - 4 item
How to make peppered rib-eye steaks:
Brush steaks lightly with olive oil. In a small bowl, combine all seasonings. Sprinkle seasonings over steaks and press into both sides. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Grill steaks, turning once, over medium hot coals 14 to 18 minutes for rare; 18 to 22 minutes for medium; 24 to 28 minutes for well-done. Place on a warm serving platter; cut across the grain into thick slices. Garnish with orange slices and parsley if desired.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Steak.
