Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 3/4 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 4 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- flour, sifted - 2 c
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- extra confectioners sugar - 1 item
How to make pecan puffs:
Cream butter with confectioners sugar. Mix in vanilla and water. Put nuts in flour, then put nuts and flour into butter mixture.Roll dough with hands into balls, the size of a walnut. Bake at 300° for 40 minutes. As soon as you remove from oven, roll puffs into the extra confectioners sugar. Makes 4 dozen.
