Pecan puffs

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• butter - 3/4 c
• water - 1 Tbsp
• confectioners sugar - 4 Tbsp
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• flour, sifted - 2 c
• pecans, chopped - 1 c
• extra confectioners sugar - 1 item

How to make pecan puffs:

Cream butter with confectioners sugar. Mix in vanilla and water. Put nuts in flour, then put nuts and flour into butter mixture.

Roll dough with hands into balls, the size of a walnut. Bake at 300° for 40 minutes. As soon as you remove from oven, roll puffs into the extra confectioners sugar. Makes 4 dozen.
