- sugar - 3 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- large eggs - 5 item
- plain flour
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- pecans
- lemon flavoring - 1/8 tsp
How to make pecan pound cake:
Cream together margarine and Crisco. Add sugar and eggs, one at a time. Add flour, salt and baking powder alternately with milk and flavorings. Add pecans last. Beat well. Pour in a 10-inch tube pan which has been greased with Pam spray. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
