- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- unsifted flour - 3/4 c
- peanut butter - 1/3 c
- 2 oz - 2 sq
How to make peanut butter swirl brownies:
Combine chocolate and butter in 1-quart glass bowl. Microwave (High) uncovered 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until melted, stirring once. Blend in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Blend in vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Grease bottom only of 8-inch square microwave safe baking dish. Spread batter in dish; set aside.Microwave (High) peanut butter in 1 cup glass measure 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until hot, stirring once. Spoon over batter. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave (High) 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer doughy; rotating dish once or twice. Let stand in microwave 10 minutes. Uncover and cool. Cut into squares. Makes about 20 bars; 125 calories each.
