  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • margarine - 3/4 c
  • peanut butter - 3/4 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream margarine, granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls; roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes approximately 4 dozen.
