Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• brown sugar - 1/2 c
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• chocolate chips - 1 c
• egg - 1 item
• plain flour
• margarine - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Sift flour, salt and soda into large mix master. Add margarine, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, and vanilla. Beat on No. 4 speed about 2 minutes, scraping bowl while beating. Stop mixer, add chocolate chips and nuts. Beat on No. 2 speed until blended (about 1/2 minute), scraping bowl while beating. Drop by half teaspoon on prepared cookie sheet. Bake 350° about 12 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: about 3 dozen cookies.
