Peanut butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• milk - 1 Tbsp
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• baking soda - 1/2 tsp
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• light corn syrup - 1/4 c
• peanut butter - 1/2 c
• sifted plain flour

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Combine flour, sugar, soda and salt. Cut in Crisco and peanut butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Blend in syrup and milk. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes or until brown.

If self-rising flour is used, do not add salt but add 1/4 teaspoon soda.
