Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c

How to make peanut blossoms:

Combine all ingredients, except the Kisses. Mix thoroughly. Shape into balls (small), then roll in a bowl of sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake until cracked at 350°, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and place Hershey's Kiss on cookie while hot; press in firmly.
