Kiss cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/3 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1 item
• pkg - 9 oz
• milk - 1 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• peanut butter - 3/4 c
• brown sugar, packed - 1/3 c

How to make kiss cookies:

Cream shortening and peanut butter. Add sugar and brown sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly. Shape dough in 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven. Immediately place unwrapped Kiss on top of cookie. Press down so that cookie cracks around edge. Remove and cool.
