Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • plus 1 Tbsp - 1/2 c
  • plain flour - 1 c
  • butter soft - 3 Tbsp
  • peach juice - 3 Tbsp
  • small box vanilla pudding - 1 item
  • cream cheese soft and 1/2 8 oz - 1 (8
  • fresh peaches or 1 large can, drained and cut up - 2 c

How to make peaches and cream:

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, pudding, butter, egg, 1/2 (8 ounce) cream cheese and milk. Beat for 2 minutes. Pour into greased baking dish. Place peaches in a single layer on top of batter. Combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and peach juice. Beat for 2 minutes. Spoon on top of peaches within 1-inch of the edge of batter. Mix remaining tablespoon sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over top. Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until light brown. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
