Pea salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1/4 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- pepper - 3/4 tsp
- salad dressing - 1/2 c
- diced celery - 1/4 c
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1 c
- bacon, fried crisp and crumbled - 1/2 lb
- cashew nuts, halved - 4 oz
- bunch green onions, sliced with tops - 1/2 item
How to make pea salad:
Combine all ingredients, except cashews; mix well. Cover; refrigerate 4 hours or more. Add cashews before serving. Serve on a bed of lettuce. May garnish with sliced black olives, if desired. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Cauliflower.
