Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 5
- water - 4 qt
- boiling water - 2 qt
- citric acid - 1/4 c
- bottles ginger ale - 8 oz
- can unsweetened pineapple juice - 1 oz
- can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed and undiluted - 1 oz
- can frozen strawberry daiquiri mix, thawed and undiluted - 1 oz
How to make party punch:
Combine 2 quarts boiling water, sugar and citric acid in a ceramic, heatproof container, stirring until citric acid dissolves. Combine pineapple juice, next 3 ingredients and citric acid mixture in a large plastic container. Divide mixture evenly into 4-gallon size heavy-duty zip top plastic bags; freeze.Remove each bag from freezer 30 minutes before serving. Place in a punch bowl and break into chunks; add 2 bottles ginger ale to each bag of mixture. Stir until slushy. Yields 2 1/2 gallons or 2 1/2 quarts per bag of mixture.
