Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- onion salt - 2 tsp
- potatoes - 5 lb
- Velveeta cheese slices - 1 item
How to make party potatoes:
Cook and mash potatoes. Add all ingredients, except cheese.Put in cake pan (9 x 13-inch): 1/2 mixture, then cheese slices and 1/2 mixture. Top with remaining cheese slices. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
May make potato mixture the night before and refrigerate. Next day, spread in pan. Add cheese slices and bake.
