Oven swiss steak
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped carrots - 1/2 c
- boneless round steak
- can tomatoes undrained, chopped - 1 oz
How to make oven swiss steak:
Cut meat into bite size pieces. Combine 2 tablespoons flour and salt; dredge steak in flour mixture. Brown in hot oil in large skillet; remove and place in greased baking dish. Add 2 tablespoons flour to pan drippings; cook over medium heat for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, celery, carrots and onion; cook until thick. Stir in soy sauce. Pour over steak. Cover; bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Very low carbs, Meat, Beef.
