  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • popped corn
  • white corn syrup - 1 c

How to make oven-baked caramel corn:

Boil brown sugar, syrup, margarine, and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda. Stir and pour immediately over popcorn. Mix well. Put into large roaster and bake for 45 minutes at 200°. Stir every 15 minutes while in oven and several times during cooking period.
