Oven-baked caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- popped corn
- white corn syrup - 1 c
How to make oven-baked caramel corn:
Boil brown sugar, syrup, margarine, and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda. Stir and pour immediately over popcorn. Mix well. Put into large roaster and bake for 45 minutes at 200°. Stir every 15 minutes while in oven and several times during cooking period.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Snacks.
