Orange glazed carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- carrots, sliced - 3 c
How to make orange glazed carrots:
Cook carrots. Drain. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and ginger. Add orange juice. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. Stir in butter. Pour over hot carrots, stirring slightly to coat.Recipe categories: Fruit, Side dish, Vegetables.
