  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 1 tsp
  • ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
  • orange juice - 1/4 c
  • carrots, sliced - 3 c

How to make orange glazed carrots:

Cook carrots. Drain. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and ginger. Add orange juice. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. Stir in butter. Pour over hot carrots, stirring slightly to coat.
