Old fashioned butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• butter, softened - 1 c
• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• flour
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• orange juice - 2 Tbsp

How to make old fashioned butter cookies:

Cream butter, sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Beat in flour, baking powder, orange juice and vanilla until smooth. Chill 2 to 3 hours or until firm enough to roll. Roll out half at a time on floured surface. Cut into your favorite shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 6 to 10 minutes. Decorate as desired.
