Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1 tsp
- old-fashioned oats - 2 c
How to make oatmeal cookies:
In a mixing bowl combine brown sugar, eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir into batter. Stir in oats, chocolate chips and raisins. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately to wire rack.
