Oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies

- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
- margarine, softened - 1 c

- regular oats, uncooked
How to make oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies:
Place oats in container of electric blender or food processor; process until finely ground; set aside. Beat butter in a large bowl at medium speed of an electric mixer; gradually add sugars, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Combine ground oats, flour, soda, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in chocolate morsels, grated chocolate and pecans. Drop dough by level tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
